This is a unique property comprising a lovely 140-year old renovated house and a large garden in an attractive village 16 km south-east from Veliko Turnovo, the medieval Bulgarian capital.

The property is located in the village of Tserova Koria, 16 km south-east from Veliko Turnovo. The village is easily accessible from the city and from the main road Sofia-Varna just 5 km away. In the village there is a shop and café/bar. It is lively and picturesque. The area surrounding the village is picturesque and tranquil.

The house, which is known locally as The Big White House for its unique architecture, is traditional in style. It is a very solid stone and brick structure with large wooden balconies towards the east and lovely façade to the south. There are two gardens. A smaller front garden is directly accessible from the street. The main garden is at the side and back of the house. The size of the land is 1,870 sq m. It is surrounded by a stone wall with a pedestrian gate in front and a possible car access at the rear.

The house has a living area of about 300 sq m over three floors. It is completely renovated, preserving the beautiful old features such as a beautiful old jamal which is working, high wooden ceilings, vaulted windows, open wooden beams.

The ground floor comprises a large stone cellar, which is being used for storage, and a heating boiler room. The house is heated with central heating with radiators in all rooms.

The first floor is where the main premises are. There is an open plan kitchen, living and dining room with a fully furnished and equipped kitchen, and a fire place which is separate from the central heating. A corridor leads from the living room to three high-ceiling spacious bedrooms and a shower room with toilet. One of the bedrooms has a beautifully tiled old heater called ‘jamal’ which is functioning. The bedrooms have access to a large wooden balcony on the side of the house.

An internal staircase leads to the second floor where there are two self-contained studios – one with an area of 60 sq m and the other one with an area of 80 sq m. Each of them has its own kitchen and bathroom with toilet. Both studios have beautiful high ceilings with exposed wooden beams. They are also accessible through a separate entrance on the side of the house and have access to a wooden veranda from which one can go into the garden.

On the side of the house, away from the main building are the remains of two stone buildings which can be rebuild over the existing stone walls.

The house is sold partly furnished. There are traditional-style double-glazed windows throughout.
