About Us
The two co-founders Mr Stephane Lambert and Mr Andrew Anderson both worked as urban planners and researchers in London before being engaged by the United Nations to direct a European Union supported project renovating historical and tourist sites around Bulgaria. During this period they developed a deep attachment to the country, its people and the relaxed way of life.
In 2001 they assisted Channel 4’s ‘A Place in the Sun’ with their first programme on Bulgaria. More recently Stara Planina Properties have assisted ITV’s ‘I Want That House’ and Real Estate TV’s ‘Bulgaria the Next Big Thing’. All of this exposure greatly increased the interest in the Bulgarian property market.
Through the many years of operations we have developed an expertise and reputation in the market that is unrivalled. All of these efforts have culminated in us being invited to write the definitive book on the Bulgarian property market, in association with the Sunday Times, entitled Buying a Property - Bulgaria (1st Jan 2008 Cadogan Guides).
